Your Cookbook Never Tasted So Good

One of the key focuses of a product should be how it helps the consumer. If it doesn’t do something to make the consumer’s life better in some form or fashion, why buy it in the first place?

One product known for helping consumers is the cookbook. For those of us who aren’t gifted with the ability to throw a bunch of ingredients in a bowl and whip up a masterpiece, the cookbook is the only thing that saves us from total embarrassment in the kitchen.

Of course, sometimes a cookbook can be even more helpful than simply listing ingredients and recipes. For example, German design agency Korefe recently designed a fully readable and eatable (we know it’s edible, but eatable rhymed better) cookbook.

That’s right. The cookbook itself is made out of pasta. So you basically use the cookbook’s text to prepare your lasagna meal, then you use the cookbook’s pages to make your lasagna meal.

Just goes to show you that brilliant ideas are waiting to be found in unexpected places. It’s one of the reasons we’re always pushing for new ideas here at deep. Maybe someday we’ll develop the world’s first fully-edible ad.

Or maybe we already are developing it…
